Virtual Pre-Inspection for Housing Voucher Tenants
If you require an inspection for a new tenant move-in with a housing choice voucher, make sure you’re prepared with a virtual inspection. During this inspection, you will need to be present at the prospect home with a smart phone. FaceTime or Google Meet will be used to conduct the pre-inspection. In order to conduct the pre-inspection, all utilities must be connected. Inspection could last between 30-60 minutes. Following the pre-inspection, if services are needed to install hardware (peepholes, locks, etc), you will need to purchase those services. Emergency services will require an up-charge fee.
